Matty Thomas is an experienced Fire Officer and Health & Safety professional with a strong background in high-risk environments including Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Nuclear operations. Across his career, he has progressed through roles including Firefighter, Crew Manager, and Station Manager, developing robust leadership, incident command, and risk management expertise.

Working within multicultural environments, including in the UAE, Matty has supported complex industrial installations where safety, discipline, and clear communication are critical. He has hands-on experience commissioning and testing fixed fire protection systems and is experienced in developing emergency pre-plans and structured response strategies for high-risk facilities.

Now operating primarily as a Health & Safety Supervisor, Trainer, Coach, and Advisor, Matty focuses on strengthening workforce competence, embedding safe systems of work, and improving emergency preparedness. He brings a practical, operationally grounded approach to safety leadership, helping teams understand risk in real terms and apply controls effectively in demanding construction and industrial project environments.
