Course Description

The NPORS Telescopic Handler Suspended Loads Course is designed to provide learners with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating a Telescopic Handler with Suspended Loads (Crane Lifting Attachments) to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.

This includes having a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator.

Who Should Attend?

This course is aimed at operators who require a thorough understanding of the relevant operational and safety requirements that apply to suspending loads using a Telescopic Handler. We will conduct a learner analysis to identify the duration of training required for those with limited or no experience, whereas experienced operators can attend a one day Experienced Worker Assessment (Test Only).
