Course Description

The NPORS Excavator as a Crane Course is designed to provide delegates with the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating an Excavator as a Crane to the NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) standard.

This includes having a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a plant operator. Delegates will also be able to conform to manufacturers requirements as per technical data, as well as conforming to relevant regulations and legislation.

Who Should Attend?

This course is aimed at learners who require the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely carry out lifting operations using a 360 Excavator. We will conduct a learner analysis to identify the duration of training required for those with limited or no experience, whereas experienced operators can attend a one day Experienced Worker Assessment (Test Only).
