Supporting the people around us who are experiencing poor mental health has become a priority for many people and the organisations they work in.
A greater understanding of common mental health issues has developed over the last few years and there has been a rise in the number of people who want to act as a Mental Health First Aider, to support and guide those around them.

Throughout this 2-day course, learners will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to actively promote positive mental health in the workplace by covering a range of topics, including: understanding mental health and its importance, awareness of their own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider, common mental health conditions, how to support those experiencing poor mental health at work with tools such as active listening and non-judgemental support. Assessment Methods
1 x Theory Assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).
Certification
Successful learners will receive a personalised QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace (RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions. Printed certificates are available at an additional cost (please see our Fees and Charges list for details).
